There are still a significant number of Filipinos who go undiagnosed, and many who are not seeing a doctor. Hepatitis B will cause liver cancer if not treated. Many confuse liver cancer being caused by fatty liver – but the reality is that hepatitis B is the common cause of liver cancer related death for Filipinos.
