Vaccines (video series)

This video series explains the basics of immunisation, including what vaccines are, vaccine safety and side effects, and why vaccines are important. The videos are available in English, Sango, Sudanese Arabic and Swahili.

The series was co-designed by Townsville Multicultural Support Group (TMSG) and refugee and multicultural communities in Townsville, with funding from Northern Queensland Primary Health Network (NQPHN). It supports refugees and migrants to better understand and navigate the Australian healthcare system, while helping health professionals understand community experiences and provide culturally responsive care.
