BreastScreen ACT - Assessment clinic information
After your mammogram, you may be asked to return for additional tests. Being called back does not necessarily mean you have breast cancer.
The BreastScreen ACT Assessment Clinic brochure provides key information for your visit. The brochure also explains the process for informing your GP about your appointment and results, which are usually available the same day unless a biopsy is required. While most breast cancers can be detected through these tests, no test is 100% accurate, so it’s important to follow the clinic doctor’s recommendations.
