You Decide Who Decides is a guide to help you think about making an enduring power for financial decisions—a legal document that lets you appoint a trusted person to manage your finances if needed.
It's called an 'enduring power of attorney' throughout Australia, except in the Northern Territory, where it's an 'Advance Personal Plan'.
Planning ahead is important because life is unpredictable. Take time to consider what matters to you and who you trust. For First Nations people, this may include having a yarn about future financial decisions. Find out more in this short video.
