What is disability stigma
This book is about disability stigma. Stigma means people think bad things about you because of who you are. For example your cultural background, your skin colour, your disability. Stigma can lead to discrimination, where you are treated unfairly because of who you are. Everyone in the community has a right to feel happy and safe, and get respect.
