Confused about GPs, vaccinations, medical tests or what happens at a health appointment? This series from Townsville Multicultural Support Group (TMSG) breaks down common health topics in simple, easy to understand videos. Videos are organised in playlists and are available in English, Sango, Sudanese Arabic, and Swahili. Topics Include:

This co-designed health literacy series was developed by TMSG in partnership with refugee and multicultural communities in Townsville, and funded by NQPHN. It explain how to understand and navigate the Australian healthcare system and are based on community experiences, questions and feedback. It supports refugees and migrants to feel more informed and confident when accessing healthcare, while helping health professionals better understand the experiences of multicultural communities and provide more culturally responsive and accessible care.
