Methotrexate is a medicine used to treat certain childhood rheumatic conditions, including juvenile arthritis (JIA), lupus (also known as SLE), uveitis, dermatomyositis and scleroderma. Methotrexate is a disease-modifying antirheumatic drug (DMARD) that reduces damage from inflammation.
