Changes to the NDIS (Easy Read)

This Easy Read resource explains the NDIS Bill has become law and highlights major changes to NDIS planning and funding from 27 Aug 2026 to 1 Jan 2028.

From 1 Oct 2026, funding for social and community participation will drop by 50% and capacity building by 10%. It also explains how plan reviews and rollovers will change (including from 1 Feb 2027 and 1 Apr 2027) and that rules about who can join may change from 1 Jan 2028.
