Title: Women and heart disease (Links to English resource)
Summary: Heart disease isn’t just a men’s health problem. Despite big improvements in the last 40 years, on average, heart disease is the top killer of women (and men). The best way to reduce the risk of developing heart disease, and to help prevent it getting worse if it already exists, is to improve or remove the risk factors over which you have some control. This brochure lists the main risk factors and shows the best way to reduce the risk of developing heart disease.
