Title: Paying child support when the other parent is overseas (amount established overseas) (bilingual version) (PDF file) (Links to English resource)
Summary: If you pay Child Support under a foreign system, Australia will help the other country arrange payments from you. In these cases, the Department of Health's role is to transfer payments on your behalf and enforce them if necessary. The Department is unable to make any changes to the amount you pay unless instructed by the overseas authority or an Australian court.
