Summary: The Children’s Court of Victoria has developed the mock hearing in this video to inform those involved in intervention order cases about court processes. The mock hearing does not represent what happens in every case and is not a substitute for legal advice. An intervention order may be made in the Children’s Court where either party (affected family member/affected person or respondent) is a child i.e. a person under the age of 18 years.The video shows a “contested” case.
