Summary: Anxiety is a normal part of life for children, adolescents and adults. This is usually a temporary response to stress. However, when anxiety persists it may be necessary to obtain assistance. Untreated anxiety that lasts for a longer period of time may make it difficult for a child to participate in normal activities and enjoy life.
